Getting to Barbados is your first step to an enjoyable and memorable vacation.  Travelling to Barbados you will need a valid passport and definitely swimwear.
There are lots of travel options from all over the world and an average of 20 flights a day land at Barbados's Grantley Adams international Airport.  The airport is located on the south side of the island and is adjacent to the aviation museum "Barbados Concorde Experience".

Taxis:

Once you clear immigration and customs and exit the Arrivals Hall, there are a number of airport taxis - cars and large vans -waiting to take you to your destination.  Taxis in Barbados are not metered but they operate with rates fixed by the government.  Taxis are identified by their License plates - they all start with the letter Z.

The average cost of a taxi from the airport to our Beach House in Fitts Village, St. James is $40.00 US dollars or $80 Barbados.
